Congratulations to Dylan Fenwick, Rotary Student of the Month

Congratulations to Dylan Fenwick who was recognized last month as Outstanding Student at Southaven Rotary. Callison Hopkins was recognized as Outstanding Teacher.

Fenwick is a senior at NCS. He has a current ACT score of 31 and a 4.120 GPA.

Academic Awards: National Honor Society; Two-time Bronze Award on National Spanish Exam; Anatomy & Physiology Award; Accounting Award; Advanced Math/Trigonometry Award

Extra Curricular Activities include: Cross Country Member 9-12; Track and Field Member 9-12; Fenwick is Team Captain of Cross Country Team. He volunteers at Heartland Food Pantry, Desoto Grace, and political campaigns.

Hobbies/Interests: Running; playing the guitar, drums and bass
Plans for College: Fenwick plans to attend either the University of Mississipi or Belhaven and study accounting.

Callison Hopkins teaches AP Literature, dual enrollment Composition I, and dual enrollment Composition II at NCS. Hopkins also serves has assistant theater director at Northpoint. She just won an Allie Award as Best Director of a Comedy for The Game’s Afoot. She loves interacting with her students, and the relationships created with her students. She also enjoys traveling, acting, directing, and writing poetry.
