Lady Trojans Complete 21-10 Season
The Northpoint volleyball team closed out the 2016 season by splitting a pair of matches in the regional tournament. After a dominant three-set win over Memphis Catholic in the opening round, the Lady Trojans were eliminated by Tipton-Rosemark in straight sets in the second round.
The regional tournament brought to a close a 21-10 season marked by a five-set victory over Mississippi Class II defending champion Lewisburg and a championship in the West Memphis Christian Tournament for the Lady Trojan volleyballers. The junior varsity squad finished with a record of 15-2.
In post-season honors, Northpoint’s Jade Dedman was selected to the All-Region first team. Millie Lee and Hallie Goodwin each earned honorable mention accolades.
Seniors on this year’s squad were Jade Dedman, Claire Galloway, and Grace Sheridan.
