The goal of the elementary library is to assist students in the development of the skills necessary for independent lifelong learning. Emphasis is placed on the appreciation and enjoyment of literature and the motivation of reading for pleasure as well as for information.
Book Checkout Procedures:
Outside of regularly scheduled Library class times, students may check out books during open library time. Open library time is from 2:30-3:30pm each day.
Grades 1 – 6 may check out two books for a two-week check-out period.
